Help With Cancer Treatment

my dad is a jw and has recently been diagnosed with chondrosarcoma (type of bone cancer), the oncologist says the only way to treat this is to cut off his leg and part of his pelvic bone.

since he will not accept blood transfusion, the doctor will not perform the surgery because of the high risk of him not making it through the surgery.

he has found an alternative doctor that has given him a lot of hope and started him on a natural chemo, various vitamins and a nutritional plan.

I have never had a biopsy, or been diagnosed with cancer, so what I experienced cannot prove anything.

I treated a rapidly growing, hard, dark mole, unlike any other mole I had, with a concentrate I made out of red clover blossoms. On the 4th day I could not see where to put my potion. There was no change in other moles that I used it on at the same time.

After developing a lump where we are not supposed to have them, I went on an all raw vegan diet along the lines of Gerson's diet. I did not do any of the cleansing programs etc. The only cheating on the diet was occasional sea foods. It took a long time, but eventually the lump grew rapidly for a week and then disappeared.

If I had a serious growth I would use a far more aggressive approach, more along the lines of Dr Richard Schulze's Incurables Program.

....and I would try that before seeking any other treatment.

I have been looking at various cancer treatments for quite some time.

In my opinion, for what it is worth, the best two are Gerson Therapy and Dr. Richard Schulze's Incurables Program.

They are both very tough to do and unless the patient is absolutely determined to do the WHOLE program WITHOUT CHEATING, the chances of success drop off significantly.

My top pick is the Incurables Program and that is the toughest and most comprehensive.

Keeping Up With The FACADE,How Long?

how many of you have had to keep up the facade on the outside,while on the inside you were dying?.

the facade being putting on a happy face in front of the elders and others while knowing what you know about the society and all the harm it has done.. how long did you keep up this facade before it began to affect your well-being?.

for me it lasted about a couple of years before i started to do the fade and have started to feel better.. blueblades

After escaping in my youth in '68, I put up the facade in '74-76 because I thought they 'might' be right. Since then I have been disinterested and am considered 'harmless' by the JWs.

I have now changed my view and am no longer merely disinterested, I am now convinced that I did the right thing by not getting baptised.

In the interests of family harmony (huge JW following here) I wonder if I am better off to stay 'harmless'....

....What do you think?

please remove me from this site, i am tired of the sarcasm and the insults simply because i choose to believe in god after leaving the borg.

i am beginning to believe that the borg was a better place than this site because i never once endured what i have had to endure here with certain individuals.

it seems that it is ok for some to criticize others here but when you stand up for what you believe in the shit just gets deeper.

Sorry to hear you are going. Where ever you go you will find a mixture from a*holes to really nice people, especially on the net. I am new around here, so I don't know what has gone before, but in other forums I contribute to, I stick around to enjoy the company of those who have similar values, sense of humour, etc as me and ignore those ratbhags who are just there to boost their own egos.

Hi Cherry, welcome to the forum. Just new here myself and am learning a lot from other exs experiences. Many similaritys to mine. Some similar to my parents, except they are still stuck in there.

What was your worst/best experience in field service?

i will have to say mine is a worst/best experience.

i was out in serviceon a saturday with my mother of all things, we went to a door knocked, and this awesome looking 16 or 17 year old girl opens the door wearing nothing but a dress shirt.

It was my mates turn, he knocked.

No Answer.

Noise inside, so he knocked again.

From what we had thought was a tin shed behind us came the sound of the most horrendous, watery, windy, diarrhea we had ever heard.

"I don't think there is anyone home." said my mate quite loudly, and we quickly headed for the street. The rest of the day was stuffed. We couldn't get past a letterbox without bursting into raucous laughter.

Roots

in speaking with some people the other day i realized i have no roots....no long term frienships....no family connections.

i went to a party and almost all of the people there knew each other from high school or college or family friends.

i felt so out of place.

I know what you mean Xena. A good friend is someone you can pour your guts out to. I find that it is usually someone of the same sex. It can take a long time to to find someone you can do that with. Some people can do it straight up at the first meeting, I sure can't, but some of those people have become my best friends. Others I avoid like the plague, they overdo it.

Nice perfume you are wearing, what is that? I must buy some for my wife.

Hi Tsomski, welcome to the forum. Some thought provoking posts mate.

I am beginning to appreciate how lucky/clever I was by dropping out early (16). I can see myself in Tinkerbell very much. "relatively young. when i first left i went utterly wild acting out and having my adolsecent rebellion (better late than never) to my own detriment." except that I don't think that it was to my detriment.

BTW, I am 50
